During the days of the San Francisco Pen Show, ELBWOOD offers a personal setting for focused conversations and private appointments. A private room inside the hotel provides space for discussion, presentation and consultation with time dedicated entirely to the individual visitor.
What to expect
An appointment typically lasts 60 minutes. We will begin with a conversation about materials, usage, preferences, and philosophy. Only then will I show you a curated selection of current works – along with unique pieces that I have brought specifically for these days. If you wish, we can also discuss a custom creation (Bespoke) or the possibility of attending a MASTERCLASS.
Why this format
An ELBWOOD writing instrument is not born out of speed. It is born out of attention.
The Private Appointments are a deliberately chosen setting for personal encounters during the show days – for those who wish to focus on one thing in peace.

The number of appointments is limited and they are available exclusively by prior booking.
